There are some imitations in the market and some of them are made from the cheaper P. odorantissimum oil while distilling it over rose, to produce a mock-rose geranium oil. Rose geranium oil has a balancing effect on the nervous system and relieves depression and anxiety, while lifting the spirits and making the world an easier place to live in. It has a balancing effect on the adrenal cortex and is great for relieving stress.

1 drop Rose Geranium and 1 drop Lemon oil into a bowl of hot water. Do facial steaming once a week for nice skin. (3mins)

2 drops Rose Geranium and 2 drops Lemon oil into warm water to do hand or footbath for 15mins. Do it 3 times a week. This is a good method whereby one can experience almost instance relieve of stress.

• Lost of hairshine, hair thinning problems, hair color damage

1 drop Rose Geranium, 1 drop Lemon and 1 drop Rosemary into 10ml of Rice bran oil. Mix well. Use this blend 3 times a week to massage your hair and leave it on to sleep. Keep it in fridge.

• DIY Brightening Body lotion for a flawless skin

Add 10 drops Rose Geranium, 5 drops Lemon and 5 drops Rosemary into your body lotion(400ml). It helps to beautify and tone up your skin.
