Wowoww I can't resist it! BEST BEST BEST. Go and try ok. It will make your day :)
Eating nice delicious food that touches our heart is also a way of destress :D
FOODCure is when the person who cook with love and passion, leaving the ones who eat it, feeling happy and satisfied. Just like mum's cooking :D

both are ok to me

most impt is we dun need to scroll to the right side of the bar, if u can feed the text just that we scroll down, don't need to scroll right ..

thanks

I would prefer bryanlist2 as the information is easier to read. But I have 1 comment if you could kindly change your font. A straight font is more "pleasing" to the eyes and easier to read just my thought and suggestion.

Thank you !

list2 is better than list1, just need to change to normal Font as its will look more impressive.

I prefer bryanlist2 too. And agreed that a straight font is easier to read.

Hi Bryan Lao Shi,

I prefer List 2 as well. The information is more structured, easier to read. Thus, more user friendly. One Comment would be the FAQs at the Product Knowledge Section. Pethaps you'd like to bold the Questions, so that it could be distinguished more easily from the answers? Just my 2 cents' worth :)

Cheers

Both also not nice! I showed it to other pple they said the same.

First, there is no consistency in your style. If you study web page design before, pictures usually placed on what we called "blind spots".

And I find that your text are too lengthy. In articles/journals/magazines, you hardly find columns with more than 6-10 words per line. That's because our brains are not trained to remember so many words at one time.

I do not know if it is for your ease of maintaining the page, usually web page design does not try to fit everything in 1 page.

The maximum is probably just 2 screen size and it should be have both vertical/horizontal bars.

You probably want to add some categories/sections to classify your products and your features.

I also find that there are too many styles in your webpages (from blogs, omhealth, bryanlist, bryanups). Usually it should conform to 1 single style for personalization.

It really takes time for pple to get used to all the different styles. I am not encouraging that you go very commercialized.. you should still maintain this 'home' feel.

Your products are good, I use it I know it, but if you cannot get the message across fully, what's the point? Pple cannot remember and have to ask you over and over again but in this new age era, we should proceed more to self-help and you can save some more time to help more pple.

I am sorry but I just couldn't help to say out all these especially when it is related to web design.

As much as I can, I try to be more constructive here. I am just sharing my viewpoints, can ignore if you do not think it is right.

Anonymous at June 30, 2009 12:48 PM,
you sound like the expert in web page designs. Maybe you can email to Bryan Lao Shi to offer your service..
I am a layman in this area. I got lost in your chunk of comments after reading your first two paragraph.
I am very comfortable with the way Bryan Lao Shi's blog and links. I think Lao Shi is trying all he can to make things easy for us.

I totally agree with Siew Kum, I think Bryan Lao Shi had put in alot of effort to come out with List2, to us it's good enough. I appreciate Bryan Lao Shi's hard work...keep it up, Bryan

I think Bryan mentioned before in his blog, he is doing this first because there is some delays from his website designer.
List 2 is pretty good for me. I am absolutely fine with it.
Nothing difficult for me and I believe once the pictures are up, everything will be PERFECT!

Bryan JIA You!! Me and my family support You all the way!!

Unknown said...

Me too. I totally agreed with Miss Siew Kum, Linda and Sylvia.

Anonymous at 12.48pm, your suggestion may be good but your wordings make me mabok. Sounds 'technical' to me.
I think I prefer reading Bryan's list.

Bryan teacher is always doing a lot for us. He is always sharing goodies with us. We must appreciate his effort from our heart.

Anonymous, although I also don't understand what are talking about but you have obviously spent a lot of time and effort in your suggestion. Your effort is also most commendable.

Bryan, your blog is my daily vitamins. It has become my habit to visit your blog everyday. Even when you are not in spore, I still have the habit of visiting yur blog simply because I enjoy your blog.
You have improved yourself a lot over the years. It is a fact witness by all your supporters.
Well done!

Is it a culture here to compliment?

There is a difference between putting in a lot of effort and whether the outcome is good or not.

If Bryan's products are not good, would you put them on your face, or would you put them on still simply because they are from Bryan?

What I am doing here is just to critically assess on a subject.

Bryan asked for our comments and I am just doing my part openly. He broadly shares with us his crystals knowledge, beauty tips & many others, so I am also sharing my little knowledge on web design.

I always believe that there is something we can learn from one another.

Btw, is it really that technical? I am sure you have seen websites that categorize the products neatly and in Bryan's case would be eyecare, slimming and face products.

Consistency also bring out that brand in you. Do you see those well-built sites having a mixture of Comics San Serif and Arial fonts and of various sizes? And usually you hardly see any web page that requires you to keep scrolling down (except for blogs), "back-to-the-top" is just a workaround solution.

I can see that there are few possibilities here and it is not limited to just these:

1) "Window Shoppers" who would like to "test water" perhaps after hearing from friends, will do a Alt-F4 in less than 5 minutes because there are too much things to digest and especially for those who have not attended your classes before. [Missed opportunities to open up to more people?]

2) Very detailed people will literally print out everything from this page and if there is any new updates? Print again because it is so hard to read on the screen. [Save trees please!]

3) Repeated users may need to do Ctrl-F to find stuffs and they may miss out things in the process.

So what web designers usually do? You can do a brief of your products on the main page. If you are interested to know more, there is always an option for you to read in detailed.

This can be illustrated in a newspaper publication. The printed version you have everything on the paper but the online version has only the headlines of the articles on the index page. If you are interested to know more about the news, you can always click 1 more level in to read the full article.

Can you imagine how it will look like if you have all the full articles on just 1 single page?

Bryan, not sure if you are reading it but I am just giving my 2 cents worth for your reference.

I am stopping here before it turns into a debate. You really have a lot of fans. Haha!

Take care!

EHehhe I am happy to see so many comments. Aiyo all comments is valuable. At the moment because my web designer delayed my projects so i just read dummies for HTML book to put up this webpage for emergency in case people want to buy things. I agreed is very lousy page that is why i need feedback to improve. I love anonymous feedback too.

I love feedbacks because i will pass to me webdesigner which i paid alot to do and delay so long. A good base for him to work on it.
