My favourtite Herbal Tea DIY
Office Ladies and Office Gentlemen, do you feel your tummy growing by days due to stress, lack of exercise, snacking or eating "Kueh" in office after lunch. When I was an office worker, I like to buy one kueh kueh during lunch for my afternoon teabreak :p Quite stressful back then and caused me to have bloated stomach and indigestion.
Here's a tea recipe which my teacher in Japan used to drink. According to her, this tea helps digestion, slimming, fight constipation, release stress, detox liver and brighten the eyes. Researched with TCM done. This tea is very very good for health too.
You can drink once a day after lunch.
Methods:
Go any chinese medical hall, buy $1 of each below. It will be a lot and you can make many packets.
Go to Diaso $2 shop, buy empty tea bags (60 bags for $2 only)
Put 5 gram of 决明子 and 5 gram of 山楂 (estimate a pinch of each) in an empty tea bag. Pour in boiling water. Let it steep for 15mins. Drink after lunch.
In Medical Test this herbs helps 除风散热。凡人目泪不收,眼痛不止,多属风热内淫,以致血不上行,治当即为驱逐;按此苦能泄热,咸能软坚,甘能补血,力薄气浮,又能升散风邪,故为治目收泪止痛要药。并可作枕以治头风.
In English, it means nourish liver, remove wind, nourish blood.
Mum used it to make eye and stomach pillow. Sometimes, I will heat it up in microwave and it is very soothing to the tummy.
Extra steps for Slimming: Spray slimming serum onto tummy. Heat up the pillow in microwave (not too hot) and out it on your tummy. WOW WOW!! Good for bloated stomach problems and indigestion. Mum said she is going to sew a bigger one for me and will add other dry herbs like ginger in it! Yeah! Sound fun? You can make one yourself :)
