Wow Wow Soup
I know most of us are very busy people. However, no matter how busy you are, you ought to make yourself a simple soup to drink. This weather will cause skin to be dry and dull. You need to take something internally to nourish your 5 organs, so as to remove the dampness trapped in the body.
I went to the wet market this morning to buy the followings:
A)Winter Melon : rich in proteins, minerals , vitamins, 其中元素硒还具有抗癌等多种功能(anti cancer compound)----($1.50)
B) White flat bean ( 白扁豆):健脾化湿,和中消暑。用于脾胃虚弱,食欲不振,大便溏泻,白带过多,暑湿吐泻,胸闷腹胀。nourish stomach, weak stomach, bloated stomach. (50gram)
C) 1 kampong chicken (Optional. You can also add the type of meat you preferred or not to add any meat at all)
D) Fish sauce to taste.
Procedures:
Remove seeds, skin from the wintermelon. Cut to pieces. Put all the ingredients into 2 litres of water. Boil for 40mins.
Tips: All chicken bought from market must run through boiling water once, to remove unwanted dirt. Thereafter, you can add them in water to boil with other ingredients. This will further enhance the taste of your soup.
