Thyroid and Melissa (Part ONE)
4)
Green Class will be 29 Sep 2013.
In one of the class, someone ask me about thyroid. And I notice , since day one I have not written anything about it:>
The thyroid gland controls our body in many aspects . Medical doctors has put many young women in supplemental thyroid hormone. Some women has been taking thyroid pills whole lives.
If your thyroid gland
fails to work properly, the hormone produced by the gland won't achieve
proper levels, leaving you either fatigued and with inexplicable weight
gain or losing weight rapidly while unable to relax or sleep.
The thyroid is part of the endocrine system that produces the hormones of the body. The thyroid is considered the “energy gland” of the body. It is very important and is responsible for many bodily functions including:
• Regulating metabolism (T3 and T4 thyroid hormones); and
• Secreting hormones for circulation, immune function, digestion, body temperature and even emotions.
Those who have thyroid issues should have the following oils: Use them for bath, compress, inhale etc
1) Frankincense
2) Sandalwood oil
3) Rose Geranium
4) Healing Trees.
5) Melissa OPTIONAL because very very expensive oil now.
Above few oil is good enough for you to use for 1 to 2 years.
In 20ml rice bran oil: Mix the above, 5 drops (1), 4 drops (2), 5 drops (3) and 4 drops (4).
Sometimes u can use direct on neck using 1 and 2. And when doing shoulder stand apply the blend to neck shoulder and also healing trees oil on bottom of feet.
Where is the Thyroid Located?
The thyroid is located below the Adams apple at the base of the neck
Since the pill suppress the gland's natural production of hormone, it is now very difficult for them to stop taking. But we cannot blame the doctor because many times, is the patient at fault here, since many women use an underactive thyroid as an excuse for being out of shape mentally and physically.
1) Now never stop taking thyroid pills immediately, u can gradually reduce it and ask doctor to monitor.
2) A powerful exercise to do daily is shoulder stand with legs touching the wall. Legs touch wall and stay in this position for 5mins daily.
3) Touch therapy using the above blend wrap ur palm around ur neck 5 mins a day is great.
4) Herbal Tea : Lemon Balm is good for healthy thyroid. U drink 3 times a week.
Medicinal Uses: U can get this tea in many health store:> It comes in sachet form.
Lemon Balm is anti-viral, so the tea is great to drink if you’re feeling under the weather. The hot tea brings on a sweat that is good for relieving colds, flus and fevers and an anti-viral agent has been found that combats mumps, cold sores and other viruses. James Duke mentions that Lemon Balm can help with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Shingles, due to the anti-viral action.
One of Lemon Balm’s key medicinal qualities is as a tranquilizer. It calms a nervous stomach, colic, or heart spasms. The leaves are reputed to also lower blood pressure. It is very gentle, although effective, so is often suggested for children and babies.
Lemon Balm tea has been shown to inhibit the division of tumor cells. It may also be beneficial to those with Grave’s disease-studies indicate that the herb slightly inhibits the thyroid-stimulating hormone and restricts Grave’s disease, a hyperthyroid condition.
Lemon Balm’s anti-histamine action is useful to treat eczema and headaches and accounts for the centuries old tradition of placing the fresh leaf on insect bites and wounds. A fomentation of Lemon Balm may also help reduce the swelling associated with gout.

Case Strudies:
Melissa is a strong antiviral - a doctor at the Technical University of Munich reported that application caused a complete remission of Herpes Simplex lesions. A component of Melissa oil was isolated and is sold in ‘Lomaherpan’ cream in Germany, though the oil can effectively used alone. While it is expensive, only one drop at a time is needed on lesions to promote remission. A drop can be applied directly on the area a few times a day to speed healing, and again when an outbreak is soon to occur – following this protocol was shown to prevent further outbreaks in a significant portion of study participants.
At the same time, Melissa is very gentle on the emotions, and can bring out this quality in a individual. Melissa oil is said to be calming and uplifting, may relieve headaches, and may help balance the emotions. Results of a study published in an alternative medicine journal showed Melissa to be effective in reducing agitation, and may have significant quality-of-life effects. Further, it may help release emotional blocks and lead to an improved outlook on life.
