Tips to reduce using chemical in daily life - Part 1 (3 episodes)

During one of my classes, a lady approached me with 2 bottles of oil, asking me to distinguish between Rosemary and Eucalyptus Radiata. Hmmm.... testing my scent :)
Being an aromatherapist for more than 15 years, I was also given the nickname "Dog nose" since I was a kid. Rosemary spanish and Eucalyptus Radiata smell different but both are both top note oil.

Reduce use of too much chemical ok :)
Overuse of chemical household cleansing detergent is not good for health. Since the 1940’s, there have been incidents on explosion of synthetic products. We are the first generation of humans to be exposed to so many synthetic chemicals (born in 1960s +++).

Have you had enough of the toxic-smelling cleaner that promised to scrub your bath and kitchen surfaces clean? The ones with the long chemical names claimed to wipe out bacteria, but did you know that anti-bacterial cleansers you buy in your local supermarket can actually make "regular" bacteria more resistant? It's true. Dr. Stuart Levy, of the Alliance for Prudent Use of Antibiotics, says that antibacterial soaps are reserved for sick person, not healthy households, and their overuse may be spreading bacteria.

Start Natural cleansing:

Laundry:
a) For natural good smelling towels, sheets, clothes, etc. Put a few drops of Lemon Oil to the washer will remove greasy/oily smells.

b) Research indicates that adding Eucalyptus to the washing machine MAY kill dust mites in bedding.

c) Put 2-3 drops of Lavendula vera
onto a small piece of terry cloth and toss into the clothes dryer to scent bed linens. To really preserve the scent of essential oils used in the dryer, add them and run on a 'no heat' cycle for a few minutes at the end of the drying cycle.

d) Add 5 drops Rose Geranium into 1/4 cup fabric softener or water and place in the center cup of the washer.

More recipes on the way.......

This is beyong tolerance, how can u sell lavendula vera at $28, this spoilt the market which is $42. I hope you can consider to price your aroma oil.

We need to pay rental and this is not fair to beauty salon and spa.

To: Anonymous @ 11.38,

Pricing is all depend on individual. If you think ur pricing is more ex than you should sell ur oil at the lower price. Or else move out from the high rental shop and get a low rental one. Or you can do it at home. Also a good idea for u.

You cannot force anyone to increase his price. If you are not happy with laoshi's pricing range, than why should u come to his blog to look see?

Hi Bryan,
I just got back from my holiday. I brought along your set of essential oil. This is my first attempt to try out a DIY bath and shampoo and fairy scent. Its very fun and I like the feeling. I bought the set from you 2 months ago but no time to use it. From now onwards, I will use them more often. I think it is still not too late for me to realise the pleasure and benefits of true essential oil.
