Yeah, i have one pkt of english barley at home. I have washed it with tap water 2 times & now boiling the barley water for abt 15 to 20 mins at the stove.

Will suggest you use chinese barley as it can qu shi-reduced water retention. will visit toilet very frequent so don't encourage to drink at night. ang moh barley more cooling.

I have given 2 bowl of warm english barley to my 2 teenager children last nite. Their lip no longer very red/internal heatiness but very pink in color(healthy sign) this morning.

I have suffered fm insomina or constipation or bodyache for a few days. I find drinking 2 bowls of English Barley once a while as a adult that it has helped me to pass out faceces & toxin fm large to sml intestine very swiftly. I can sleep very well & without taking any medicine at all last nite.

As a mother myself, u can boil english barley water for yr child who is just one yr old. U can boil english barley, pandan leaf and added brown rock sugar(very tonic & gd for yr lung) for yr taste.

Maybe u can just give half or three quartz cup to be given to yr child as fluid intake once a while.
Chinese Barley is a bit raw and very smelly that any child will refuse to drink it. My Bi Li Lao Shi has taught us abt brown rock sugar very gd for our lung at his Workshop.

I just treat barley water without adding any sugar as my fluid intake or just drinking plain water. Chinese Barley can cleanse our urine & remove water retention. Barley water can remove unwanted faceces or toxic fm our body. Our skin complexion will be very radiant & gd for our health. I love to eat more green veg & fruit nowaday.

Hi Bryan,

I would really like to take barley but having a 真寒假热体质, when I take very cooling stuff, it will trigger my asthma.

Any advise?
