Balancing 5 elements


There is a Chinese saying, any food that is black in color helps to nourish the kidney and it is a tonic to the body system.

The 5 elements are closely related to our 5 main body organs. For example, the Qi of your kidney and liver (Black and Green Food) could probably be ‘injured‘/not smooth if you suddenly have a lot of grey hair and often feel tired.
Even if you are not a housewife, it is important to learn a few tips on the 5 elements to benefit yourself and your love ones. My health and beauty tips evolved largely around the 5 elements. The theory of the 5 elements is a great teaching passed down by our great ancestors. I incorporate some new age techniques into this profound theory so as to make learning more interesting and easy, The 5 elements exercise class was one of my creations and I am very happy with it.


Remember I mentioned about having an ALUMNI for all participants from my 5 elements exercise class ? This alumni is specially organised for those who have attended my 5 elements exercise class before. It will be a time to come and practice what we have learnt together and also learn any extra body movements to enhance your health. It will be held on 7th Feb 2008. More details will be announced soon. It will be a one time session only :D

The 5 elements exercise class is definitely an ideal class for all companies and schools especially during stressful periods. It helps to release any stress tension, connects staff and boosts up staff morale.

Before I rest for the day, I would like to recommend a soup recipe. This recipe is good for people who experienced blur vision lately, fatigue and grey hair. It will help to beautify skin, darken hair, anti-age, reduce bodyache. Most important of all, it is yummy!

Bryan Lao Shi's black bean soup:

Ingredients :

100 gram black beans, 40 gram Gou Qi Zhi (Wolfberry seeds), 40 gram Huai San, 10 red dates(remove seeds), 1 black chicken and water 1500ml or more. Put all the ingredients into a slow cooker. Boil for 2 hours. Add some salt to taste.

Remember use of chemical free skin care products and drinking good soup can help to achieve nice smooth healthy looking skin :D

This receipe is more suitable to cure our backache problem.

I will double boiled for this receipe for 2 n half hr with blk chicken.

We have to take out of the skin of Blk chicken, marinate the blk chicken with a pinch of salt for 1 hr n then add 2 to 3 pcs of ginger.

I will usually chop the chicken into 4 pcs. The soup shld be very sweet n tasty to try with white or brown rice for our dinner.
