Weak lungs: Strengthen your lungs

This young chap tends to sleep late all the time, poor memory.... Cannot focus well on studies. After learning kwa sa.... excel now =)


There are so many many successful cases of using moxibustion, and hair dryer method to warm the upper back. It has helped many youngsters who have running nose and tends to sneeze a lot in the morning.


You can recover from sinus. One of my greatest testimonial of all came from a client of mine who had 20 years of sinus and is ok now.


Dos and Dont's for sinus
1) Don't eat fruits after 7pm, no milk during treatment period.
2) Warm upper back with 3 oil method.
3) Use hair dryer warm upper back for 2 mins every night.
4) Inhale lemon, eucalytpus and lavendula (from tissue) when you have sinus in the morning.

5) Drink barley+ fang feng 3 times a week.

6) Strengthen lungs by performing 4 7 8 breathing exercise daily.

Optional (for chronic power treatment) ;
1) Learn moxibustion and warm upper back
2) Perform fire cupping.


All students who have attended "East meet West Kwa Sa" class, have you been doing 4 points moxibustion once a month or has the moxibustion stick gone mouldy ...hmmm

Case Study: Lee works in Yamaha as a pianist. He has sinus problems and bloated stomach at the same time. Every morning, he will have serious running nose, keep on sneezing and has puffy eyes. On top of this, he experienced bloated stomach frequently.

Sinus Herbal Tea

防风 15 gram, Barley 50 gram.

Boil with 800ml to 1 litre of water for 30minutes. Just drink once cool.


One cup a day for 3 days, should improve.


Please during this 3 days, no fruits after 6pm and cold drinks after 6pm.

Tissue method --my diary


Most of my students knew that I have a super powerful remedy for sinus, morning sinus or sore throat or feeling under the weather. That's right. Bryan's Tissue method :P
Invest in a good tissue (KFC one ok). Apply 1 drop of Lemon sweet oil and 1 drop of Peppermint Avernesis oil onto a piece of serviette. Fold the tissue into half and inhale.
It will fight sore throat, reduce heatiness, nausea and bloated stomach amazingly.

Neck SHoulder Ache Remedies

3 Oil Method

Do you suffer from Cough, Neck & shoulder ache?

You can use Bryan's 3 oils method to help. First make a little pillow (filled with flaxseed), put inside microwave to heat up this pillow a bit. Placed it on your upper back. It will helps to release neck & shoulder ache and speed up the recovery of cough and sinus problems


3 oils method: Lavendula vera, Peppermint , Majoram/Pettigrain. One drop of each oil into a handful of body lotion. Mix and apply all to your upper back. Put the DIY heat pack (own made) and leave it on for 10mins. POWERFUL. It can also brighten dull skin indirectly.


NB: Flaxseed can be found in Nature Farm. If you do not know how to sew a pillow, you can buy a nice silk cloth, put flaxseed in the centre of the cloth. Wrap it up and tie it up like a ball with string (do not use plastic string as you are going to put in microwave oven)

Xu and Weak Body == SINUS?

Sinus main oil are: Lavendula vera, Eucalyptus radiata ; Optional peppermin and lemon.
This is my left hand :D Heheheeee....The markings indicated on my left hand are the acupressure points for kidney and sinus point. A total 5 points. Learn more about the points in the upcoming 5 elements exercise class. I have 10 seats left at the moment :)


Case Study :
My son is 17 years old and he has sinus problem. His condition is worse in the morning. He would sneeze untill his eyes are swollen. His eyes becomes very puffy and dark eye circle appear below the eyes. My poor child gets very exhausted during noon even though he has enough sleep. He likes cheese cakes, ice cream and likes to have a glass of fruit juice before he goes to sleep at night. I brought him to many doctors and even went for an operation for his sinus problem but I don't see much improvements.

Sinus Symptom :
Fullness behind head congestion, excess mucus, facial pain, headaches, bloated stomach, fatigue and dark eye circles.


Bryan Lao Shi's DIY remedies:



  1. Early morning when you wake up, add 1 drop of Peppermint and 1 drop of Lemon onto a piece of tissue. Inhale a few times from this tissue and bring this tissue out. This tissue will last a whole day. It may stop sinus after 3 inhalations. After the 3rd day, change the aroma recipe to Lavendula and Eucalyptus.

  2. Avoid fruits and cold food after 6pm for 7 days. No milk during this 7 days. Eat more warm food.

  3. Do a hand reflex after inhale the tissue with the aroma oils. Do it daily for 5 mins. A total of 5 acupressure points right? So press 1 min for each point. Press all the 5 points ok :)

Sinus, Dark Eye Circles and Dull Skin

Hi all. It has been a very busy week for me working from day to night, answering listeners' questions and blending herbal oils.



It's all worth it because I received a number of feedback on recovery from sinus, cough, back pain problems. Across the causeway from JB, I received a small note from a lady yesterday. She told me her skin had improved after using the serum. I am very happy for sll of you.

SINUS (COOLING AND HEAT TYPE)

Symptoms include fullness behind head congestion, excess mucus,
facial pain, headaches, non-stop sneezing and blocked nose.

What you should avoid:

• Do not blow your nose violently. Instead blow out through one nostril then the other, not together. The sudden pressure in your ears can push bacteria back into sinuses.


• Alcohol and heaty foodstuff causes the "Ki" to flow upwards, which delay healing process.


• Too much cooling food also causes the body to weaken and takes longer to heal.

SINUS/COUGH

This is a very tricky problem. I have a client who had seen many doctors and even went for operations but the condition is still the same. After doing simple acupressure and using the following 2 oils, he is much better now.


Aromatherapy Method (especially effective for kids):

For emergency applications:



  • 1 drop of Lavendula Vera and 1 drop of Eucalytus Radiata onto a piece of tissue paper and inhale. Rub the tissue on your upper back, and with a hairdryer, warm your upper back.

  • 2-4 drops of Lavendula Vera and 2 drops Euclayptus Radiata into a small jar of "Vicks" ointment (most convenient), or 30ml Aloe Vera gel. Mix well with a wooden toothpick and leave overnight.

  • To use, apply some onto the chest and upper back area, rub gently. With some of the leftover on your fingers, apply a bit under the nose. Use a hairdryer to warm the upper back for a while.

  • Apply acupressure on the Ying Xiang (Welcome Fragrance) Points (see illustration) twice a day everyday. Press the points for 6 seconds, release, and repeat for 2 mins.

Twice a week: One drop peppermint and one drop lemon in tissue inhale:>


People who have sinus problems should stop eating fruits and cold drinks after 6pm. I have suggested many to observe this for a week and they have found improvement. Your sinus will be difficult to heal even if you take Chinese medicine but do not observe the Yin and Yang elements of the food.
